G.Network has announced a number of key achievements by the business in progress towards its strategic goal of building a better-connected London.
The company is on target to achieve an accelerated path to profitability since completing a strategic review earlier in the year. The adoption of a new operating model has delivered notable improvements in productivity, customer service and enabled revenue growth. Management is encouraged by the achievement of three critical milestones in the next phase of the growth plan and remain confident about the growth opportunities ahead.
The company has announced that it has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Network Services 3 Framework (RM61116) for Lot 1a: Inter Site Connectivity (Wider Area Network) / Data Access Services.
G.Network can offer high bandwidth, 1Gb and 10Gb solutions, to serve the public sector across its newly built, full fibre network in central London. As a named supplier on NS3 agreement, the company can now supply Inter-Site Connectivity and Data Access Services on a retail and wholesale basis, unlocking a strategic growth opportunity for the business. It is a privilege to be able to work with public sector organisations, including local authorities, blue light services, and health care suppliers.
The company has also moved to a new head office near Silicon Roundabout, taking a long-term lease in one of London’s leading technology hubs.
Kevin Murphy, chief executive, commented: “G.Network’s mission is to connect more of London’s residents and businesses to our full fibre network. We’re here to serve Londoners with fast, reliable broadband and to do this we need to have a top-quality supply chain in place and keep growing our customer base. Working in partnership with Unipart will make G.Network a more efficient and sustainable business, allowing us to accelerate our next phase of growth, as well as provide our customers with the best possible service, which we aim to do for Crown Commercial Services.
“Myself and the management continue to be encouraged by the ongoing positive momentum across the business and the growth opportunities that lie ahead.”
