Excel Networking has announce dthe launch of its new Enbeam Fibre Configurator, an online tool designed to make configuring and ordering pre-terminated fibre cables faster and easier than ever.
Richard Cann, technical services manager at Excel, commented, “Ordering Excel pre- terminated fibre cables has never been simpler. Our team has developed an intuitive configurator that guides users through three straightforward steps.”
Step 1 – Choose the cable, including construction type, fibre type, and fibre count.
Step 2 – Select the breakouts.
Step 3 – Choose the connectors required at each end.
Richard continued, “To enhance the customer experience, the configurator generates a detailed 3D model of the selected cable as it is built. This interactive feature allows users to zoom, rotate, and inspect the cable from any angle. Additionally, a QR code can be scanned to view the cable on a smartphone for added convenience.”
He concluded, “Once the configuration is complete, users can download a detailed specification sheet and send an enquiry to the Excel sales team – all in just a few clicks. Each order is then expertly assembled by Excel’s Specialist Support Services team at our Birmingham headquarters, rigorously tested, and shipped in plastic-free packaging as a plug-and-play solution.”
