Allied Telesis is boosting customers’ ability to focus more on business growth with the European launch of its IT infrastructure monitoring service, Auger.
A 24/7/365 cloud-hosted service that provides specialist vendor independent remote monitoring of networks and IT infrastructure, Auger enables InfoTech teams to be released from running networks and concentrate instead on revenue-generating projects. With monitoring performed by an accredited partner and supported by Allied Telesis, the service gives companies confidence that the optimisation of their network performance is in safe hands, across all devices.
“We built Auger to address the lack of comprehensive support for IT teams when it comes to network infrastructure performance monitoring,” said Mark Brule, chief solution architect. “Existing commercial and self-serve solutions require a substantial investment in time and resources to install and tune. A poorly tuned monitoring system will generate floods of alarms that don’t help the IT staff but instead add to their list of struggles. Auger supports the IT team to allow them to focus on helping their business make money.”
Businesses increasingly rely on IP-based networks that drive their day-to-day operations and profitability. These networks connect various devices from an ever wider set of vendors and must support diverse software applications. As network complexity increases, the IT personnel managing these environments risk becoming overwhelmed, especially as business activities ramp up in the hybrid working era.
Auger offers different service levels to fit most types of business. The service will be delivered through accredited partners so that customers can work with their preferred integrator or VAR. Initially, the service will only be available in North America and Europe but will expand worldwide during 2023.
