TREND Networks has announced the launch of its SignalTEK QT Series, an all-in-one qualification tester that brings 10 Gigabit copper testing, fibre qualification and advanced Wi-Fi diagnostics into a single handheld instrument along with cloud management and remote support built in. The SignalTEK QT Series is available to buy worldwide.

As networks adopt higher-speed LANs, installers and IT teams increasingly need a compact toolset that removes the guesswork and reduces return visits. SignalTEK QT addresses that need with copper qualification from 10 Mb/s to 10 Gb/s, including 2.5 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s multi-gig speeds, plus Pass/Fail RF testing for NEXT, return loss and insertion loss.

For projects that include fibre, the SignalTEK QT Pro extends capability to single-mode and multimode fibre qualification (insertion loss and length) and supports loopback tests using TREND’s SFP modules, enabling installers to verify fibre links to IEEE standards before they leave site.

SignalTEK QT also includes integrated Wi-Fi scanning and diagnostics: users can list access points, spot channel conflicts and overloaded APs, and run ping, traceroute and device-scan tests from the same device. PoE installations can also be verified with load testing up to 90 W and clear Pass/Fail results.

Cloud-first workflows are core to the product. TREND AnyWARE Cloud lets project managers pre-configure tests, collect and store results, share report links and push over-the-air firmware updates – reducing admin, preventing lost data and speeding up handovers between field engineers and office teams. TeamViewer Live Support also enables remote troubleshooting and real-time assistance to technicians on site.

“Field time is expensive and customers won’t tolerate guesswork,” says Dan Barrera, Director of Product Innovation at TREND Networks. “SignalTEK QT combines the three most common qualification tasks – copper, fibre and Wi-Fi – into one reliable, cloud-connected workflow. The result is fewer tools to manage, fewer return visits and faster sign-offs on every job.”
